In this set of verses of Bhagavad Gita, Krishna explains how you do Karma with Gyana and that Gyana, Krishna is giving in this section.  Many people consider Vedic Culture as Destiny Centered, however, it is Duty Centered and hence to perform spirituality, which is our duty, we need 2 things and they are determination and patience and both should go hand in hand. Krishna is highlighting 2 distraction because of which we are not determined in Spiritual Life – First is Sense Gratification and Sudo-Spiritualism. One can come over these distraction and maintain one determination and patience by being humble.

One cause of suffering and because they are not satisfied and the reason behind that people think that they would be happy when they achieve material desires. And it requires humility for one to discover that they have unlimited desires, most of them are wrong desires. These wrong desires are created to by Visual Media by Television and Inappropriate content from Internet and one has to safeguard oneself to advance in spiritual life.
